Privacy

RecipeCap is an iOS app for recipes, weekly plans and shopping lists. The controller is Burzinski & Jaenisch GbR, Burgunder Str. 1, 14197 Berlin. Contact: info@bejanic.de.

What data we need

We use Clerk for login. We store the account details you enter there, for example email address and name.

Recipes, weekly plans and shopping lists sit in our database so they come back on your iPhone. When you import a video link, we send the URL to our import service. It downloads the public video, reads audio and frames and builds a recipe from that.

What we skip

We do not sell your data. We do not run ads against it. Private or age-restricted videos often cannot be read, and we do not bypass access controls.

Retention and rights

Account data and your library stay for as long as you have the account. You can ask for access, correction and deletion. Write to info@bejanic.de.

Hosting

The API runs on Cloudflare. Media import runs on Railway. Login runs through Clerk. Their data processing terms and server locations apply.
